Do I need video production experience?

Not at all. SonusVid automates the entire process — music analysis, storyboard creation, video rendering, and clip merging. Just upload your music and pick a style; your MV will be ready to download in minutes.

How are credits charged?

Credits are charged per shot. VEO 3.1 Fast costs 14 credits per shot, ~8 seconds each. A 1-minute MV needs about 8 shots (~112 credits). You're only charged for shots that render successfully.

What music sources does SonusVid support?

You can upload local audio files in MP3, WAV, M4A, or OGG format, up to 50MB each. Support for external platform links is in development — stay tuned.

Are there copyright issues with generated videos?

Accepted Answer

The AI-generated visual content itself has no copyright issues and belongs entirely to you. However, the music used in the video is still owned by the original rights holder. Before commercial use, ensure you hold the music rights or use royalty-free music.

How long does it take to generate a video?

Accepted Answer

Generation typically completes in 30–90 seconds (depending on server load and video length). Creator and Studio users have a priority queue with shorter wait times.

What is the maximum video length?

Free supports up to ~24s (3 shots, ~8 seconds each). Starter, Creator, and Studio have no shot limit — video length matches your audio.

What's the video quality? Is 4K available?

Free outputs 480p; Starter and above output 720p. All tiers use H.264-encoded MP4, ready to upload to any major platform. 4K export is not available yet.

Can I use generated videos commercially?

All generated videos belong to you and can be used for personal creative projects. Music copyright remains with the original rights holder — ensure you have the appropriate license before commercial release.

Question 10

What happens if generation fails? Will my credits be refunded?

Accepted Answer

If generation fails due to a platform error or AI model issue, consumed credits will be automatically refunded or refunded upon request. If generation completes but the result doesn't meet your expectations, credits are non-refundable — AI output is inherently variable, so we recommend testing with free credits first.
